EN ROUTE CALENDAR

Our hope for En Route this year is to build upon the theme of Rest. Believing that true soul rest comes from a life lived with Christ, we want to explore how we can create pause, quiet and space for Jesus in our typically busy, noisy lives. Over the year we intend to look to the Church calendar to imagine what it could look like to order our days and the seasons of the year with intentionality and focus on Christ.

October 2nd--Ordinary Time and Growth
At October's En Route we will learn a bit about the church calendar and the season we are in that is referred to as "Ordinary Time." Ordinary times looks, well, ordinary. But it is actually a season of growth. How are we growing? How in our busy ordinary days do we act intentionally to move towards growth in our lives?

November 20th--Advent & wreath-making
Join us in November as we get our craft on and make advent wreaths in preparation for the coming Christmas season. Christmas time is usually so often a time of increased busyness in our lives and so easy to get focused on the festivities rather than the celebration of our God that put on human flesh and came to dwell among us. Join us for Christmas carols, conversation and ideas on how we can move through this Christmas season in a new way
and experience Jesus more richly this December.

January 8th--Naming your Year
Have you ever named your year? At January’s En Route we will hear personal stories of the significance in naming a year, and how it is one way you can see God at work in your life. We will also bring in the new year with prayer and worship. We hope you will join us.

February 26th--Drawing near to Jesus through Lent
At February's En Route we want to set the stage for the coming season of Lent. Whether you always observe Lent or never have before, we want to talk about what it means, what it doesn't mean, and explore together how we can encounter Jesus through the season of Lent.

Horse Back Riding Social 
Saturday, November 2nd @ 4pm / Redbarn at Larkspur
If the explosion of all things pumpkin at Trader Joe’s hasn’t put you in the mood for Fall than perhaps this will! Come connect with other Warehouse women over the perfect fall evening festivities. The evening includes: 1/2 hour trail ride, hayride, bon fire, chili dinner, roasting marshmallows, and more. This event is a great way to meet other women and is the perfect opportunity to invite a friend to experience our community! The cost of this event is $30 per person if riding or $15 per person if horses aren’t your thing and you just want to come for the food and company! The lovely Amber Greenawalt is organizing this event. Contact Amber via facebook to inquire and reserve your spot.

Panel Discussion on Motherhood 
Wednesday, October 23rd / 7-9PM at Warehouse
Being a mom of young children can be lonely and overwhelming. We want to offer a time for newer moms to meet and connect with Veteran moms. Our panel (made up of Carla Love, Lisa Breakfield, Amy Dickmann, Jennifer Bingham, Deb Hopkins, and Stephanie Cutshall) will welcome newer moms with the hope of encouraging them on this journey of motherhood. It will be a time of sharing experiences and asking questions. If you are interested in coming either sign up today on the sign up sheet provided or email warehousemoms@gmail.com to RSVP and feel free to include suggestions as to what you would like the topics to be. This is also a great opportunity to invite friends or neighbors. **Please note, childcare will NOT be available.
