These books give guidance in how to study scripture and provide understanding of the types of literature of the Bible. Book by Book provides historical content for each book of the Bible.
Developing Intimacy with God by Alex Aronis
An eight week prayer guide based on St. Ignatius' prayer exercises. Structured exercises that allow you different ways to pray through/engage with scripture.
Jesus Calling by Sarah Young
This book gives scripture lookup for each day with a short devotion for what Jesus would have to say from the scriptures that day.
